Celebrating Mayfest With
Games and Talent Show
Fifth-Grade Collin
County Adventure
Camp Trip
In September, fifth-grade
students bonded through
team-building activities at
Collin County Adventure
Camp. They tested their
aim at archery, climbed
the rock wall and enjoyed
a weekend of camaraderie
with classmates and
teachers.
Sixth-Grade Camp Carter Trip
Sixth-grade students spent two days at Camp Carter
in Fort Worth. Activities included a wilderness survival
challenge, hiking, fossil hunting, archery and cooking
doughnuts over a campfire.
During the all-school
Mayfest pep rally, each
advisory presented a gift to
their senior before enjoying
a morning of activities.
Fifth-graders played on the
baseball field, in the gym
and on inflatables. Sixthgraders rotated through
advisory games including
ring toss with pool floats, bocce ball, javelin with pool
noodles, obstacle course races and indoor detective games.
Seventh-graders enjoyed a photo and video scavenger
hunt and water relays. Eighth-graders played kickball, ran
relays and joined in water games. The day concluded with
classmates and teachers sharing their talents in the Middle
School Talent Show.
