Our teams compete in TAPPS, TAPS,
YMCA, Spring Valley Association and
Sportsplex.
Cross Country
Cross Country (TAPPS Class 4A), led by Head Coach
Taiesha Olden and Assistant Coach Mike Willoughby, saw
both the boys and girls teams compete at the TAPPS state
meet, where the Varsity Boys team finished as state runner-up.

Four Shelton seniors in the Class of 2025 signed to play
sports in college:
• Jack Conger: Sewanee, University of the South,
Cross Country and Track
• Grayson Henegar: Lubbock Christian University, Golf
• Grayson Metz: Carnegie Mellon University, Football
and Track
• Peyton Yammarino: Rhodes College, Football
Varsity Volleyball (TAPPS Class 4A, District 3) earned its first
playoff berth in 20 years, advancing to the area round.

• Annie Fulton: 1st Team All-District; Academic All-State
• Chloe Weiner: Honorable Mention All-District
• Kat Williams: Honorable Mention All-District

Varsity Football
Varsity football (TAPPS Division
III, District 2) returned to TAPPS
district play and qualified for the
playoffs, advancing to the area
round, with Taylor Ogden setting
school records for 2,285 rushing
yards and 35 touchdowns in a
season, along with career records
for rushing yards, total yards and
total touchdowns.
