Shelton Teachers and Staff United
for Community Service Day
On Jan. 6, 2025, 270 Shelton teachers and staff
participated in community service projects organized by
Director of Admission Meghan Miller.
• Lovepacs: A nonprofit organization that provides meal
boxes filled with non-perishable food to children facing
food insecurity during extended school breaks
• The Birthday Party Project: A nonprofit organization
that brings joy to children experiencing homelessness by
hosting memorable birthday parties
Miller said, “These moments of coming together not only
strengthen the bonds we share as colleagues but also
provide an invaluable opportunity to connect with new
faces across our staff. An added bonus, of course, was the
impact we were able to have on the wider community.”
