ADVANCEMENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Christi Contreras, Chief Advancement Officer
This year has marked a defining
chapter in Shelton School’s story
of impact and progress. Guided
by our mission and fueled by the
generosity of our community, we
are proud to share the milestones
that helped propel Shelton forward.
Celebrating the Completion of
Our Campus Capital Campaign
In one of the most significant
milestones in Shelton’s history, we officially concluded the
capital campaign for our new campus. In May, we celebrated
the campaign’s success with the installation of our donor
wall in the main lobby.
Record-Breaking Annual Fund Participation
This year’s Annual Fund saw record levels of participation
across all constituencies, especially among faculty/staff and
current families. Faculty and staff participation increased
13% over last year and participation from current parents
increased by 5%. With gifts ranging from $5 to $50,000,
every single donor made an impact no matter the size of
their contribution. Collectively, these funds help Shelton
meet the unique needs of each learner every day. The
Annual Fund is Shelton’s most essential fundraising effort
and involves all members of the Shelton community. The
Annual Fund’s impact touches all aspects of our exceptional
program, providing resources and opportunities that would
not otherwise be possible.
A Stronger Alumni Network
Shelton’s alumni community grew stronger and more
connected this year, with new alumni programming such

as The Pathfinders mentoring program, which matches
current Shelton seniors with alumni to help navigate life
after Shelton. In the year ahead, our focus will turn toward
building leadership pipelines, expanding mentorship
opportunities and deepening alumni involvement in both
giving and volunteer efforts.
Gratitude and Vision
None of this would be possible without our donors,
volunteers and advocates. Your belief in Shelton’s mission
enables us to dream bigger and do more for our students.
Thank you for investing in Shelton. Together, we’re not just
imagining a brighter future — we’re building it.
